This great value FNQ Top 2 Tour Package combines best of both of these world heritage wonders!  Day 1 is the Great Barrier Reef where you will spend a magical day discovering and exploring the underwater world of the reef.  Unlimited snorkeling, free introductory scuba dive (no experience required), glass bottom boat tour and lunch is included in your tour. Day 2 is the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation where you will travel in small group comfort to the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest. This amazing place has the oldest, continuously surviving tropical rainforest in the world, dating over 135 million years old.  Guided walk at Mossmon Gorge, Daintree River Cruise and lunch is also included in your day.

Please note this tour is not suitable for children under 4, unless on a Private Charter.
The Child Price is for ages 4 – 14 (with no dive inclusion).  Family Rate is for 2 adults & 2 children (with no dive inclusions for the children).   Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years – if your children are 12 yrs or above we can book them on as adults for the reef tour and include the dive – please enquire for package price.

Transfers for the Great Barrier Reef tour are included for Cairns City Hotels, Northern Beaches Hotels are an additional $25 per person, payable to the driver on the day of travel.

**Regarding Scuba Diving: Minimum age is 12 years. There are time restrictions for flying after diving and some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Pregnancy and heart or lung conditions. Some other medical conditions/medications may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition please contact us.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to re-schedule, alter a reservation, or make any amendments to prepaid tour components, such as equipment hire, guided tours, or course fees.

Cancellation fees are as follows:
20% cancellation fee 30 days or more prior to departure
50% cancellation fee if within 30 days prior to departure
100% cancellation fee within 14 days prior to departure

  • One free scuba dive including scuba diving equipment hire (subject to medical conditions – only included in adult tickets).
  • Unlimited snorkeling at two reef locations.
  • Non-swimmer snorkel tours throughout the day, for those who require assistance in the water.
  • Glass bottom boat tours (weather permitting) are a great way to witness life beneath the waves.
  • Selection of meals and refreshments. This includes breakfast bacon and egg rolls, lunch buffet and afternoon cheese, wine and biscuits are served.
  • Interactive Marine Biology Presentation, a great way to learn about the Great Barrier Reef.
  • Cairns CBD bus transfers to and from your accommodation to the boat (additional cost for Outer City & Northern beaches Hotels).
  • All mandatory reef tax and fuel levies are included in the trip cost.
  • Tea and coffee served throughout the day except during journey times.

  • DAY 1. CAIRNS TO THE GREAT BARRIER REEF

Start the day right with a breakfast bacon and egg roll, enjoyed during your trip to the Great Barrier Reef. This day tour provides you with up to 6 hours at the reef, conditions permitting, during which time you’ll visit 2 separate sites with unlimited time for snorkeling. If you require some assistance in the water, there’s non-swimmer snorkel tours held throughout the day, as well as glass bottom boat tours. (Glass bottom boat tours are weather permitting).

If you want to try scuba diving for the first time, now’s your chance, with a free introductory dive.
Lunch, snacks and refreshments are served throughout the day and are included in the tour price. All food is locally sourced and prepared fresh, by the onboard chef. Soft drinks, ice-creams and other cold drinks are available for sale (at extra cost) from the on-board bar.
The interactive Marine Biology Presentation is a great way to learn about the reef. This presentation is provided by the boat’s resident, onboard expert. We do suggest applying sunscreen regularly throughout the day and sunscreen lotion is provided onboard, free of charge. All snorkel and dive equipment are included and provided for your use throughout the day, on board the boat. For those staying in the Cairns Business District area, bus transfers to and from your accommodation to the boat are included in your day trip.

  • DAY 2. DAINTREE RAINFOREST & CAPE TRIBULATION

From the blue, into 50 shades of green with our premium, full day Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation tour. The itinerary has been carefully crafted to showcase the best of this ancient rainforest, taking in Mossman Gorge, the Mossman and Daintree Rivers, Cape Tribulation Beach and more. You’ll be travelling in air-conditioned small group comfort and kept informed throughout the day, with commentary by your naturalist guide.
We offer pick-ups from Cairns, the Northern Beaches and Port Douglas. If you join us before Port Douglas, the day commences with a scenic tour along the Great Barrier Reef drive. We collect any extra guests in Port Douglas and take in the views over 4 Mile Beach, from the Flagstaff Hill lookout.

The next top is Mossman Gorge, where we have morning tea with a cold drink or local tea or coffee. As well as exploring the rainforest at Mossman Gorge, there’s also the option for a swim, before we stop for a restaurant lunch with a choice of meals available. With the engines charged, step aboard a solar powered electric boat, for a 1-hour cruise on the Daintree River. You might see crocodiles, turtles and local birdlife.
Then it’s over the Daintree River on a cable ferry crossing, and into the Daintree Rainforest. Enjoy views from scenic lookouts and learn more on a guided botanical walk, we even visit Cape Tribulation beach, which is where the reef meets the rainforest. For those with a sweet tooth we stop in at the Daintree Ice-Cream Company in the afternoon, where you can purchase locally made exotic fruit flavoured ice-creams (at extra cost). If you’re returning to Port Douglas, we’ll get you back around 5.30pm. About an hour later for guests from the Northern Beaches and Cairns.
